The Sikorsky R-4 is a two-seat helicopter designed by Igor Sikorsky with a single, three-bladed main rotor and powered by a radial engine. The R-4 was the world's first large-scale mass-produced helicopter and the first helicopter used by the United States Army Air Forces,[1] the United States Navy, the United States Coast Guard and the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. In U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard service, the helicopter was known as the Sikorsky HNS-1. In British service it was known as the Hoverfly.

This is another FSX port over I started some time ago. I've included the skin folders and a template for your use. Full credits are in the readme. Only tested in BAT 3.6.1 so far.

Interesting.  Lovely aircraft...got it working in my DBW.  Had to use hubberanz's file...but it works.  However I have no sounds.  I'm using Victor's sound mod.  No error can I find in the logfile.  The folders "presets" and "samples"...do they need to be moved out of the file and placed somewhere else?  I try to solve my own problems and moved them to a few places...to no avail...this one has stumped me.  Again, I can't see an error in the logfile as it loads and flies and so on...but no sounds.  Anyone else?  Cheers and prost.

just installed the Lone Wolf mod in my DBW too and got only this:

So I run back to the first post and found this:

It seems that our 4.10.1 & DBW is absolutely no longer supported, too bad.

Nevertheless, I do not give up my DBW, enough for me the 1200 aircrafts! Nice to see you on a pic with PF.  8)

thank you for the hint. Reinstalled and both helicopters running perfekt!

All sounds there, in cockpit, outside cockpit and flybys are correct.

Maybe you've done a little mistake. Do a test with my DBW-R-4-mod:

Hi Gubi,

is there a soundmod in your modsfolder?

If yes, deactivate this mod and try again.

What if you fly another helicopter, then you have a sound?

I cross my fingers (in germany we say: I firmly press you both thumbs).
