No. I have a format folder for each repeditive procedure and I fill in blanks, copy and paste. Sometimes, I just
forget to delete the unneeded part from that group.

:D :D Thank you Zflyer, I really appreciate your works and above all I look with trepidation the Schwimmenwagen, you have no idea how much I miss it, it was one of the first Tamiya models that I built when I was ten years old ... and seeing it move in a digital diorama will be a great joy. Thanks also to have had the attention to insert a well-assembled crew, absolutely welcome for those, like me, who holds in high regard the realism of the scenery!!!

:) ;D Thanks for the vehicles, if you can give me the mapping of the Schwimmwagen I try to place a couple of textures on it, maybe a desert and a camouflage would give it a touch of aged ad hoc .. what do you think? I tried to edit the VW-166 file but it does not change the skin, the VW-166-1 file I can not open it ... the interior file is missing in the VW_Type166 folder. ;)

You probably are already aware of this , in that case ignore me.
If not , please be aware that the M8 HMC did NOT have the same turret as the
M5 Stuart LT.

You have declared the vehicle to be a "ship".
In this case it becomes an ocean-going vessel only.
This vehicle is more suitable for rivers!
Certainly in IL-2 many maps do not have a "navigable" river.

The mysteries of IL-2! Or the limits of map creation!
If it is declared a "ship" it will go to the high seas but not to rivers.
If it is declared "car" it will go on rivers... and the maritime coasts... and on roads. But there is a difference in height at ground level to be respected.
If you want both... you need two vehicles in the Classes, ini, etc....
Remember : Certainly in IL-2 many maps do not have a "navigable" river. ;)
But you have to admit, this vehicle on the high seas is a little ridiculous. ;)

Yes , it is unlikely that the Kfz 1/20 would be used/was used on any sea.
However because IL2 does not catalogue water depth , vast floodplains of shallow water ,
and very large rivers and lakes were navigated by this vehicle -that was the purpose of its design.
If it simply requires an object of a different name to be entered in various IL2 object categories ,
it would be simple to name it Kfz 1/20 in the vehicular categories
( Stationaryobject , object , vehicle) and Schwimmwagen in the ships categories ( Ships , Stationary Ships).

And we do not address an issue fundamental to IL2 - AI fighters not armed with ordnance will not attack ships , even if given
explicit waypoint directives in the FMB or if ordered by a human fligtht/sqdn leader in-game via the Tab Key commands.
It would be much more elegant to remove all fighter FM restrictions preventing AI fighters strafing ships , should either of
the above criterai ( FMB GAttack Waypoint attached to enemy ship OR Tab Command Key directives to Flt or Sqdn to
Attack Ground Targets /Ships ).
(sorry zFlyer for diverting thread , but I feel the situation of an amphibious vehicle (Kfz 1/20) warranted the mention of
this issue).

:)On the Schwimmwagen the two lights are transparent should be opaque and the propeller is moved down and should be returned to the centered position with respect to the disk with the dynamo ... small adjustments, overall the Sw is truly spectacular! ;)

Since Zflyer's Schimmwagen has found all my enthusiasm, I thought you might like to please some textures of completion .. they are not of high quality but surely give the model a further realism! I have prepared three, Desert, Gray and Mimetic each one is accompanied by the corresponding uniform for the crew.
PS put the three folders inside the two folders VW_Type166 and VW_Type166_WAT then decide, from time to time, which overwrite according to the needs!

The SdKfz251_2 is one version we dont have , great choice!
The Sturmtiger is just a radical monster of a beast machine :D It will be fun (and dificult) to try
to shoot that thing from a P-51. Its just a solid steel bunker !

No Java files on armament. I just copied and pasted the 80mm from a technics entry and changed
that to add 360mm in hopes it would work. Weapons didn't fire. Game did't crash, so I left it alone.
I assumed most would just like the eye candy and targets.
urmel - If my other ones are working, it may be the weapon section in technics (as mentioned above). I do
not currently have BAT installed. So, I can't repilicate crash.

I personally dont mind if it does not work at all. Just static is good enough.
Just place it on the map for "eye-candy" and then go target shooting at it in a
low-level flight with my P-47 over German territory.
However, it MUST explode with a big HUGE BANG ! :D

The M577 seems to be what is at issue here.
Some obviously have this working so I have to assume the mortar entries belonged to a existing vehicle, could I be missing a vehicle pack?
I will experiment more later, I have things to do now.

The M577 was also in the previous log I posted so that was there all along, question still remains as to why I still have the issue, yes, it looks like the weapons were one problem and as they are not mentioned now we have to assume the classes from Gabriel fixed that particular issue so we are getting there I think. ;)
This is why I have opted to concentrate on 3d, java messes with my head too much. :D

Okay I got everything to load up finally without a CTD. ;)
As far as the weapon files from SAS~Epervier go, in my 4.12 with SAS ModAct 5.30, the Strumtiger makes a big bang. 8)
So, for all those having the same issues as me, once you add the SAS~Epervier fix please add the section in Red to the technics entry for the M577 and let me know if things then load for you:

This allowed me to load and test so I assume because the vehicle actually uses a head and gun part in its construction this was the speed issue the log was saying it could not find, it was searching for the turret.

I have a issue with the stationary for the SdKfz251_2, it can be placed on the map in FMB but is not there once the mission loads. o_O
Note: The issue above for the SdKfz251_2 only applies to the Artillery version, the static object is okay.
The folder only has a gun mesh, no head, maybe there is the issue, not sure.
That vehicle will also need some alteration as it rides slightly below the surface of the terrain.
Thank you very much again to Gabriel for the weapon fix, not only is he the 4.09 Guardian Angel it seems. :)

By the way ... that SdKfz251_2 is very "heavy" with fat troops, or it is sinking in quick-sand :D
I know it just needs to be raised up a little.

I have solved the DBW problem for the M20 ScoutCar. I am in the process of double checking all of my vehicles
in DBW. Once all are checked I will post an update.
