Declared as smoke, so no collision model just a visual effect.

I find a conflict between this mod and CY6 colored smokes:

They share 5 class files and the slot for smokes from 16 to 19 so they are incompatible!

I write at Stuka40 at AAS asking him if is possible to make them compatible!

I hope this is a easy feasible thing!

Now they are fully compatible thanks to CY6 that have modified his smokes!

And both are a MUST!!!!

I just noticed that Stuka_40 updated his Birds and Smoke mod with animated seagulls.  8)

Looks nice and works without problems in my old V4.09 modded install.
But does anyone know if it will work in DBW1.71?
It has to do with the included classfiles (a subject I don't understand at all...)

If it doesn't conflict with another mod I want to add it to my DBW install and edit the eff. file so birds will fly in a more horizontal direction instead of upwards like spiral smoke.
But if I will be told it causes trouble because of the classfiles I leave this mod out and it saves me time in editing the eff.file.  ;)

Make sure when installing to correctly chech each entries with yours because if you have installed some others mods that alter smoke effects this have some conflicting entries....IIRC due doubled smoke numbers....

Thanks!  ;D Ill get it installed. And i do have some new smoke textures. I have new textures for burning planes, and the colored smoke mod. I'll see what happens. Thanks again!

Hi Folks,

I understand this topic has not been posted to in a while.

I am using version 4.12 with the VP Modpack and can'g seem to get this to work.

I noticed that my ini files contain a smoke 16 and smoke 17 entry - perhaps that is part of the problem?

Any advice is appreciated. - jg1234
