Mexico Vought V-99s UPDATED
« on: August 01, 2020, 06:54:02 PM »

Here are two skins for the Mexican version of the Vought Corsair biplane, the V-99m.  Externally, it was very similar to the Thai V-93s which we now have in the game with many thanks to Zflyer.  The Mexicans acquired ten V-99ms.  The 2 skins (both 1024) represent Black 36 and Black 38 aircraft as flown by the Mexican Air Force against Cedillo rebels in 1938.  While operating against the rebel Army in San Luis Portosi both aircraft received crude field camouflage schemes which from available photos appear to have been randomly applied to upper surfaces and I'm assuming the upper wings. Colors aren't known but assumed to be earth tones.  "Clean" Mexican Voughts are in pack in second link.

Update:
New pack also contains slightly different versions of the two camo birds (in the above link) plus others in silver/aluminum dope and one generic (1024).  All were deployed to San Luis Portosi in 1938 and participated in combat operations against Cedillo Rebels.  All skins should be placed in the "Vought_V93S" skin folder.
