default skin problem

Hi, hope everyone is safe and well.
Got this problem trying to load a single mission up, get a CTD.

..there is a problem with default skin size not being identified???
game is in my 4.10 DBW 1.71, map is Canon channel.
Any help appreciated.MK

4.10 DBW 1.71..I HAVE LATEST RESHADE , RANDOM SKIES AND HI RES COLOR SKINS MOD. INSTALLED. ALL WORKING OK. MAYBE A PROBLEM WITH HI RES SKIN MOD. IF YOU COULD POINT ME TO THE APPROPRIATE POSTS OR TOPIC PAGES. THANX MK

I'm just guessing here but you must have added some mod which is not compatible with your DBW setup, in my experience the java.lang.NoSuchMethodError is a classfile conflict between two mods, but its hard to tell which mod causes this. Start deactivating mods one by one and see if the error goes away.

OK. Thanks for reply VP. I'll start sifting thru the Mods.. Do you know about the default skin problem..(! 512/1024)....or is that connected.. Only I didn't have any issues on other single missions I tested.

I did not mention this error because I got no clue what it means. It can be the side effect of the other problem.
If your plane is not pink the default skin is ok.

yes, you should use the classcheck.exe if you got many mods in your #DBW folder

PI think the problem is with the stock Hurricane MkIIb/c.. In QMB when I select them in the arming screen.. I can only get them to appear with markings off. If I select markings on, I get a CTD..The "default skins" has no markings.. Is that normal? Cannot get MkIIb to work on Canons Channel map.. Which is a good map to create missions on.. Only the MkIIb/c causes a CTD.. MkIa is ok..i deactivated every mod I could find in my DBW install. All other MkIIb versions.... MOD FILTER, VVS  etc fly OK in QMB..trying to find a common link between the 2 types in my Mods.. Any help really appreciated,  or if I'm missing the ******* obvious ill will of course take the kicking..
