Calling all P 40 fetishists.....

Hello All

A mate of mine is coming up for retirement, he's an engineer and amateur glider pilot
For as long as I can remember he's had a love of all things P 40
In an e-mail conversation the other day he said he's found a cracking graphic novel about the P 40 in India/ Burma ?
He sent me a couple of shots......






he tells me the Novels are by a famous French artist and are part of a series

Q: Does anyone know the novels.......the artist......and if they are available to buy anywhere ?
     Also can anyone identify the P 40 skins in the top pic...and are they available in IL 2 ? .... as I would like to make some screenies and get them printed and
     framed up for his birthday

The guy is Romain Hugaut and the novel series is called Angel Wings..unfortunately only part 1 has been translated into English yet but the whole story spreads into 9 parts IIRC...for Burma and P-40s the first three parts are the interesting ones though I guess...

Wow! Look at that nice pair of... 262s. I wouldn't mind getting a ride with that double... seater up there. I can't tell the size is from the side and below, but that D looks like a Fw-190D-9 of JV-44 fame.  I don't know why the artist took liberties having the lady dressed that way. That cap on the flight line could easily get blown into that 004 causing irreparable damage. Everything else looks fine. Nice ass.

Anyone know if they plan on translating more volumes into English?  I’m interested in them.. maybe better off just buying the volumes I can and having Google translate them for me!
