Damaged BAT files w/installer
« on: December 04, 2019, 06:49:29 AM »

Hello everyone, I've been trying to install BAT over the past few days, but with no avail. Every time I try to do so using the installer, I get the error message
"The following files are damaged: BAT01.zip BAT02.zip ... BAT29.zip Aborting installation!" I would post a picture of it, but I do not appear to be able to do so on this thread.

I already have the installer in the same folder as my BAT files, but not my expansions, which is itself in my IL2 folder at D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL 2 Sturmovik 1946\BAT.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,
Alex

Write four more posts (for example, test).

For security you can send here only after the 5th post.

Best regards, Gerhard  :)

You can post pictures now.
The BAT installer is supposed to be in the same folder together with the zip files.
That means: The zip files as-is, without extracting them.

The installer performs a CRC check of the zip files prior to installation.
If the installer complains about broken zips then this means just that - the files are corrupted.

So should I reinstall my files?

If the zips are corrupted there's no other choice but to download them again.
