I posted this one because it loaded to45% for the first time which probably means nothing.

How many SFS files there are in your F:\il2 strurmovik\BAT CLEAN\BAT04 folder and can I see (screenshot) the contents of your F:\il2 strurmovik\BAT CLEAN\BAT04b folder?

Hi Whistler,

I will get that information for you tonight after work.

I tried to keep the test missions basic to eliminate as many variables as possible.

There are no mods active and the install logs said everything installed successfully.

I would hate to have to do another reinstall of everything.

However nowhere near being able to help, it looks like its a special problem with your personal setup.
Do you have planes that do work in JTW module? Which ones for example

Almost all planes I have tested work.

The ones that do not work are:

F 16, F 18, F 104, f105, mig 19, 21 [all versions of these planes], il28, KA 50,52, Hind, all versions of F4 [except 1960] do not work.

All failed QMB  tests done previously were  rechecked on JTW maps and on all mission types. All froze at 30% except for the one I posted above, the F 18 QMB which froze at 45%.

The planes that work are ok on non JTW  maps and have not failed to load on the many maps I have tested them on or on any mission types.

I have started with default loadouts and default paint schemes to eliminate variables and got the 30% freeze.

The only thing I have added to the basic install, mega patch and expansion packs [all installed in the required order over a clean il2 2946 disk] is the BAT skin collection Version 3.

All install logs showed successful install of all components,

The other module in BAT which I have tested run perfectly.

The only issue with the program other than this was the pink plane problem which I fixed with the alternate BAT DLL per the instructions on the site.

Whistler asked me to post:

What's still missing is logfiles.
It's amazing to see how 90% of people reporting "bugs" fail to provide logs, despite us endlessly repeating how important they are and how to get them.
Note: Yes, you've posted logs, but the wrong ones.
I'm not gonna repeat the right way now, since this has been said a quadrozillion times before.

I apologize but I am confused and very much appreciate the time you are taking to try to help me.

I have read the troubleshooting instructions over several times.

I made the required adjustments in the conf ini.

Thanks for all details, brp51d.

Good news is that your JTW SFS look solid. You don't miss anything, at least, in that area. I am afraid this is as much as we can do to help. I tried/tested the missions you posted and all loaded and played ok.

What's the problem then? I don't know but I know some QMB missions won't work in the Jet War module. I suggest a full re-install. You can keep using your current BAT while you build your new installment in parallel. Stick to the missions that work in the meantime. Let us know if a full re-install did it for you.

I reinstalled BAT. I'm sorry to say that the QMB freeze problem was not solved and is happening on the new install.

I installed on a separate physical dive, an external SSD.

As is the case with the other install most planes load without problem in QMB but many don't.

The farthest I got was with an F18 loading to 100% but only sky showing when mission started.


I went back into the logs for failed missions and found one line that I would appreciate you looking at:

I tested all failed missions on JTW maps and all had this line in the log.lst

You must be correct that this problem is unique to my system setup.

I used the downloads from the website which work for so many others without issue and I confirmed with the install logs for all modules once again they installed correctly.

of course, I am no expert but I have to believe there is some windows file or other issue on my system that is making this happen.

BAT is a great achievement. I look forward to using the program even with this limitation and thank you again for you efforts to help.
