Hi,
I have problem with VP Modpack and carrer mode. When I use in Il-2 Selector SAS Modact game type, I can't start carrer mode :-( When I try start, I select country. On the next screen I select mission an when I try create carrer is short "beep" signal and nothing happend :-( When I try load creating carrer, game crash to pulpit. Anyone can help me? I bought Il-2:1946 few days ago... (and joystick).

Installation according to the instructions.
I don;t know why but language in game is english but when I use mod in menu is polish language (I'm from Poland).

Hi,
I resolved my problem.
I found DgenERROR.txt file. I open it and I found this:
"Can't open location file:
DGen\USA_pl.dat"

USA_pl.dat- this file not exist in game folders

In config.ini I search "locale=" It was empty. I added "en" (locale=en)
Now carrer pilot work exelent :-)

Are we sure "locale=en" is a valid entry? I know of "locale=" and "locale=us" but never heard of "locale=en".

en is valid, however us is the correct default one.
en will result in only xxxxx_en.properties files being read and written from FMB

What happens when using "locale=en" is that the game doesn't understand "en" and defaults to english language. The difference is that with "locale=" or "locale=us" you will generate valid xxxxx.properties files (no underscored extension) and with "locale=en" the game will generate useless (for sharing) xxxxx_en.properties.

Bottom line, "locale=en" has the same effect as using "locale=kl" (for Klingon language). Always use "locale=" or "locale=us".
