Trying to isolate a problem with mods in new 4.09 update

Have been adding the last of the 4.08 mods into my 4.09 game. After nailing down a number of errors, this one has me stumped.

The CTD occurs presumably at the instant of the loading status changing from 60% to 70% (I don't actually see 70% appear, but the CTD occurs after the 60% indicator has been showing for the typical ~12 seconds.)

The last bit of log.lst, where the class '4.09' is a mystery. All flight models appear to have loaded successfully...

"fillArrayPlanes" method parses air.ini file, so apparently your air.ini contains a line with that fancy "4.09" plane entry.

You've got no one to follow, and no one will follow you. Ain't that a relief?

I scrutinized air.ini very carefully before posting, and didn't catch anything untoward. Or so I thought! Your reply inspired me to look more closely, before retiring for the night.

And I almost literally slapped my forehead after a few seconds' look. It was in the new 'header' sections I created in air.ini, to group the new 4.09 planes. The offending lines looked like this one:

*______New 4.09 Allied_____* air.Placeholder

It should look like this:

*______New_4.09_Allied_____* air.Placeholder

It was the darned spaces, which resulted in the "4.09" being parsed as the flight model name.

Live and learn. Your tip really shortened my agony; I appreciate it!

Anyhoo, after that fix she loaded up just fine. And because I couldn't use the new buttons until now and hence was playing with old flight models, I now note some not small differences in the handling of some birds I've flown a lot over the years. Kind of like a bit of a new game.
