Don't get this wrong, your skins are wonderfully painted...

But can you please stop using special characters like ' or , in skin names?
The game (at least up to 4.12) simply does not recognize the skin and they are unusable in FMB unless renamed.

I am currently working on a campaign featuring 302 Kokutai and it took me a while to figure out what the problem with your skins was.

Thank you :)

vampire, I've never noticed that.

Now also found that the folders in "PaintSchemes" (which concerns the Japanese planes AM6 ...) are either not named correctly or the folder names are not correct. Thanks for the hint here.

Hello Sakai,

Your work is just wonderful, thank you!

VP is right!

With your skin names I have in my 4.10 & DBW also no success. I have to rename all skins.

Have a nice weekend, best regards,

Gerhard  :)

Many THX, sakaï ...!  8)

... regarding the signs that are not recognized by the game, you can also add the sign degree "°" ...  ;)

... about the name of a given AC skin folder, it always must be the one on the left column of that given AC in the air.ini ...  ;)

Hello Mick,

I know that. Since I did not mean that it is a mistake of Sakai. Generally there is something wrong in my PaintSchemes folder.

I suspect that for some Japs aircraft air.ini names and plane_ru entries do not match correctly.

But I will find out.

Regards, Gerhard  :)

check air.ini, it depends on your modpack or other source of install, particularly with the Zeros, since BAT for example has both 3D versions in separate slots while others simply overwrite the existing slots. So always be particularly careful where you put A6M skins.

... the prob may arise because there are several different versions of the Zero, 3D wise, the stock one and JapanCat's one for ex, with different mapping ...  ;)

Sakai - thank you for the next pack of wonderful skins.
Today I noticed that the paint chips on the propeller blades, which according to me should be on the opposite side of the blades.

... there's an easy fix for that, never turn the engine off and you won't see the bug ...!  :-|
