Hi Jir great pack but I have a problem with several of the ships not having preview images in my FMB objects menu? The ships are; Libertad, Lasaga, Canarias(32) and (52), Almirante Cervera and trhe Velasco. All the others show up ok.
Using CUP btw

A big thank to Jir first of all... same problem as PO_MAK.
Both in TGA and WAW no showing in FMB the ships listed by PO_MAK.
A little suggestion for future ships:
Canarias it's very similar to County heavy cruisers classes of british navy and also Libertad and Cervera could be the basis for some british light cruisers.

Best regards
Poiana

Sorry Jir but I have the same problem affecting PO_MAK and poiana44. Using 4.12.2 CUP too.

p.s.=  Like poiana44, my intent is to use the cruisers under Royal Navy colors too, since Canarias derived from the County Class RN heavy cruisers and the light cruisers are pretty much like RN ones, or IJN ones.   :D  :D

Cheers,
Carlos.

Hi Jir

Before attempting to install your great looking ships I installed the OldCarpenter pack into my BAT #WAW3 folder. I then installed the Shp Jir folder and meticulously added the ini entries.
I initially got CTD at 70% as follows

[May 31, 2019 11:41:50 AM] -------------- END log session -------------

I then deleted the Old Carpenter chief and stationary entries and the game loaded fine, but I can only get a few of the remaining ships to appear, namely the two Acorazado's, Pesquero 1 and 2, Barco papel, Mina marina

The other ships do not appear FMB and there are no preview pictures in the object box.

Any help would be appreciated as I would love to add these ships to my game

Really nice group of ships thanx!, I installed them (tried) in BAT 3.6.2 TGA, as others have said most work, the ones that didn't (they don't show on the preview screen or FMB, they aren't there) are:
1) Crucero Libertad, there is no folder for this ship in the 3DO section of the download
2) Destructor_Lasaga  this ship has it's folder in the 3DO section of the download but the only file in it is a skin.TGA file
3) Crucero Canarias (1936)  no folder for it in 3DO section of download
4) Crucero Canarias (1952)  no folder for it in 3DO section of download
5) Almirante Cervera           no folder for it in 3DO section of download
6) Destructor_Velasco         no folder for it in 3DO section of download

It appears that possibly the download doesn't have all the files included?, of the 6 5 have no folder for them in the download, the last has a folder but only has a skin.TGA file
If this is the case can the missing folders/files be added to the download?

I temporarily copied the sfs 3do files + rc file entries from the latest UltraSpain game into my BAT install and got all the ships showing normally apart from the cruisers (partly submerged) and the destroyer Lasago (too high in the water)

But, then had a look at the ships in the UltraSpain game and got exactly the same effect, with the cruisers funnels and masts poking up out of the water and the destroyer sitting on top of the water as if on dry land. (can't seem to post the screen shots for some reason??), so it looks like there are some coding issues with some of the ships even in the UltraSpain game  :(

there's a little bit more borked.

Some ships (only in their moving variant) appear semi-submerged in FMB:

however, in the mission itself they float normally, so it could be called just an "inconvenience" ...

in their static version, they all appear floating normally in FMB.

Give Jir a break. He does not have to do nor comment anything. The demanding tone of your post is unfortunate.

Good tip Squash. I'll do that.   :D

It's ok PO_MAK. I meant that just because someone posts or shares something it doesn't mean that person must necessarily assist anybody. That's all.
