Arctic Brewsters - A Campaign for BAT!
« on: May 04, 2019, 04:17:04 PM »

Yes, another conversion to BAT:

This is a semi-historical, 10-mission static campaign, set during the first half of 1943. You are a Finnish Fighter Pilot in LLv24, flying the Brewster B-239. The Operations Area is the Arctic front, and one of your main targets is the strategic railroad that runs between Murmansk and Leningrad. And in the air the Soviets are getting stronger and stronger...

You can download it here: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=380

Included in this campaign is 13 skins, by IFE, IMME, Mission_Bug, Archie, Harpia Mafra 55, VP Media and AS (?). Thanks guys for your super work! Without skinners no campaigns! A special thanks must also be sent to Team International Brigade (Kapteeni and Agracier) who put together this very fine map (that really gives the right feel for this part of the world) and without which this campaign could never have been made.

Some glossy screenies here:

Thanks for looking!  :)

Thanks for updating these campaigns. I am a fan of the Buffalo for reasons I do not understand myself. This is a lot of fun.

Thanks guys! Yes, I like the Brewster too - as did the Finns BTW!

Really, I enjoy updating to BAT, firstly because the performance is very good, so it's no problem increasing the aircraft density, secondly because the scope of choices when it comes to aircraft, ground units, objects etc feels almost limitless. And it functions as a base-line mod: no downloads, no special requirements, just BAT 3.61 and then you are good to go!

Again: many, many thanks to all involved in creating BAT!  :)
