Lancaster Mark III- Not working
« on: February 13, 2019, 03:16:33 PM »

Hello,

Was wondering if anyone of you brilliant people could help me? I have all the expansions up to Musketeer and I can't seem to get the Lancaster to work. "UPKEEP" works beautifully and I can view the Mark III in text and alter the load-out but that's it.

Be great to get this working as it's the aircraft I've wanted since the first IL2!

Thanks a lot,

Nathan

Hi Gandisflipflop1! Welcome!

While i am not tech guy, and cannot resolve your issue, I will offer some advices that may help you down that path!

While you've come to the right place, you will get much better results if you offer a bit(read "bit" as a LOT) more information when asking for help!  ;D The modders and miracle workers here are some of the best people in the world and odds are they would love to help you but they cannot read minds. There are a thousand and one vague pleas for help every week on top of countless replace-the-link request, help finding things, etc, and it can be overwhelming and frustrating.

We can surmise that you are in BAT since you posted in the BAT section and mentioned Musketeer. Other than this all we know is that the Lancaster Mark III "wont work".

There are several things that anyone attempting to help you will need to know.

~

HOW is it not working?? Offer a detailed description of what you did, as well as what IS or ISN'T happening. Include your game version. This small information will often hold a clue to the issue without further headache.

In ALMOST EVERY instance you should post a LOG to help out. This holds a wealth of information that can be helpful. Read how to do this HERE:

and here:

Also be sure to read up on the posting guidelines.

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,84.0.html

Taking these few small steps when asking for help will make your issue much more likely to be picked up quickly, as well as making it smoother and easier for everyone involved!

Best of luck fellow flyer! Again, welcome to SAS!
Regards
