SandsOfTimeCR (Curved roads)

The original map is named OnlineMT. I took a modded version, whereas the changes are limited to exchanging the main textures and the type of the few dozen buildings. All these objects and the airports are still in the map.

I doubled the maps size and changed the mountain textures. Then i added rivers, towns, some little harbours, some oasis and of course roads and also camel pathes and two more airports. As the original country road and path plates look a little bit to clean, they are blurred now. This needs the installation of the new desert plates.

The map works with VPMedia and BAT. With Modact it will depend on the used static.ini.

Installation:

Add the following lines to your static.ini:

As these plates are variations of plates with the Title "RoadPlate_KDP", the end of this title may be a proper place to add.

Move the folder STATIC_DESERTPLATES within the download into the folder #SAS, #WAV3 or an similiar folder.

Move the folder "MAPS" into your "MAPMODS" folder. This installs also the needed textures.

Add to your all.ini:

SandsOfTimeCR  SandsOfTimeCR/load.ini

If the map doesn't save, use the static.ini.checker to find the missing objects. In other cases of missfunctions have a look to the log to find the reason.

Towns and oasis created with CityBuilder
Populated not with objectset, as i painted the villages and oasis directly to the textures ;-)
Roads and pathes layed with RoadBuilder
Hight adjustment with HightAdopter (Pathes only)

Very strange. Never noticed something like that. A log would help. But your map installation seems to be completly wrong. The SandsOftimeCR folder with the ed_m01.tga etc. must be in in the MAPMODS/Maps/ folder and the one with the textures (Vill15.tga etc.) in the _tex/land/summer/folder. But i don't know if there are installations with other folder names.

Best might be to delete everything you added and then install that two folders and the line in the right all.ini. There may be more than one all.ini, the right one is within the MAPMODS/MAPS/ folder for me.

If the map loads add the plate lines to the static.ini under MAPMODS/STD/com .../objects.
