Looks interesting CzechTexan, thanks a lot!  :)

What do you mean by this: Must have a setup that allows Taxi-to-Takeoff, takeoff in line and pairs.

I can't find the barge with locomotives by DHumphry.  :(

Best regards

hi vonoben,
I think it was IL-2 4.11 that introduced Taxi-to-takeoff, takeoff in pairs, and in-line.  You must have that for the missions to work properly at takeoff.  For example, in pairs or in-line the aircraft are side-by-side at takeoff.  Taxi-to-takeoff is when the aircraft can start off the runway (like in a hangar) and then taxi to the runway to takeoff.

If you do not have this feature, then you will need to edit the missions in the FMB and make them "Normal" takeoffs.  It should be easy to make the changes and I don't think it would affect the missions that much...except maybe when the airfield is under attack and the planes need to takeoff quickly.

The Barge is just a group of objects that are added to the first few missions.  In mission #1 it is found just a few kilometers to the west of Ochakov, near a small island.
Hope that helps.

Taxi-to-Takeoff was introduced in 4.12 AFAIK, so 4.12 and 4.13 should be ok for your campaign.  :)

I thought you meant that the "barge with locomotives by DHumphry" is a mod needed for your Campaign, but I can't find that mod when I search.   :(

No, the barge is just stationary objects made in the FMB.

For your campaign, author:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the end of August to the beginning of October  a group of the VVS VMF pilots acted with their I-16 and Yak-1 as part of 69 IAP:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On august 9, 1941, some Ju-88 troop , escorted by Bf-109, deliver an attack to Odessa.

Three group of 9 IAP fighters (3, 2 & 9 planes) has been westwards for interception.

Soviets declared six wins (3 Ju-88 & 3 Bf-109), but  three VVS pilots lost in action:

P.Kolobko, L.Danchenko, G.Lazarev.

PS: so, that was from Odessa airbase.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In early September, the regiment, which lost 51 aircraft, was assigned to re-form and retrain in Yeisk.

In mid-October 1941, the 2nd squadron with Yak-1 returned from Yeisk to the Crimea and only on October, 17 its pilots achieved 7 (seven) air victories over the western shores of the Crimea.

In the period from October, 21 to 29, 1941, the 2nd squad operated as part of the Freidorf air group. During this period, the squadron pilots shot down three Bf-109s, losing one Yak-1.
