Thanks Greybeard. I have not used cowl flaps before. Will check my controls page and allocate a key if necessary. BTW I am flying a 1942 career in the G50 and after 30 missions have 9 kills but only died once. Still having trouble landing but getting better. Practiced on the DXXI which has a sturdier undercarriage thankfully. Apart from the engine problems the AI are pinching many of my kills after I damage them. That is a common problem I see. I will have to close in more for the kill if I can only keep up.

Thanks Taraboulba. Will give them a lookin. The use of cowl flap settings has definitely improved my problems with overheating.
