Seems that this is needed for those of us running windows 7?

If the cam/system can be made to work without the file that would be fine.  I've been looking around and I am not sure. This is a file from Freetrack, and was hosted here http://www.sendspace.com/file/2stcof but that link is no longer valid. Did anyone happen to d/l that and still has it? If you have it, can you please email it to me?

I've tried emailing the folks over at Freetrack and no reply regrettably.

I will give it a try when I build my DIY tracker.  Now to find some suitable cardboard

In case you experience problems with FreeTrack and PS3Eye (as I did), consider using OpenTrack instead. It's interface is less intuitive, it takes more time to set it up to your liking, but it has the same functionality, has more options, works fine with Win10 as well, and is actively maintained, while FreeTrack is practically dead for 10 years.
