Upgraded X52 Throttle finished
« on: January 20, 2019, 11:09:32 AM »

Hey guys. Been busy in the real world with the grandkids and retirement travel. I did however finally find time to finish my X52 upgrade project. Pretty much all new high quality parts as well as a HALL Effect for the throttle position. Also includes a mini thumb joystick for the strafing requirements in the 6DOF games I play. I will be updating my blog when I install it in my simpit.

What software will you be using? My X52 runs on it's original but now has been locking the computer up. I found that this has been happening to some for a long time with windows 10. Something with the drivers.

WoW!! Amazing Upgrade!!

My 1st flight stick was X52 , in Saitek own company time.
Its throttle LCD was almost useless for IL-2 1946, swapping it with 12x buttons looks nice idea.

I heard Logitech (current X52 / X56 manufacturer with "G-Flight brand") has reworked around flight stick drivers.
When X52 / X55 / X56 are unstable with Saitek or MadCatz time drivers, try latest Logitech drivers.
Logitech drivers are talked as much more stable than older.
