SB_2M-103 & SB_2M-103A Problem in 4.13.4 SAS MA6.4
« on: January 17, 2019, 07:48:15 AM »

Dear friends!

I would like to try to solve the problem, which appeared with my SB_2M-103 & SB_2M-103A aircrafts in 4.13.4 SAS Modact 6.4.
The problem is that they started to explode immediatelly after the mission is load. I though the problem was with weapons, deactivated them, but other aircrafts use these weapons without problem even SB_2M-100A, the mission is played fine! Thought the problem was caused by Avia-71B (similar to SB_2M-100A), deactivated the same, but it did not help either. There were no problem sometime ago, deactivating new installed files gave nothing either. This is what the log says:

Nothing about the aircraft, nor about weapons. Please any ideas?

You don't give much information....
- LOG too short and useless! Give a complete or more consistent LOG!
- What Mods did you add?

SB_2M-103 & SB_2M-103A are "stock" aircraft in 4.13. So they can't be at fault.
Where does the "Avia-71B" come from?

 o_O
If I had a LOG too... provided I'd rather play marbles!  :D
It's not especially your fault.  ;)
36,000 ship alarms... beurk!
Bref !

I think the cause of your CTD is due to a problem with static objects!
See :

[22:02:52]  House: Value of [buildings.House$Tower-30]:<Panzer> not found
[22:02:52]  Can't set property
[22:02:52]  java.lang.RuntimeException: Can't set property
[22:02:52]      at com.maddox.il2.objects.buildings.House$SPAWN.getF(House.java:73)
...
[22:02:53]  House: Value of [buildings.House$mortaintonnel_01_H]:<Panzer> not found

But... There is also a whole series of errors of this kind:
[22:02:37]  Error P38J15LO Weapons '1xdroptank5x500 ' NOT initialized:weapons.PylonP38PLN2
[22:02:37]  Error P38J15LO Weapons 'droptanks 2x500 ' NOT initialized:weapons.PylonP38PLN2

But I don't know if the 412 considers these alarms fatal!

There is also this error, which I believe is not fatal:
[22:02:38]  java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: weapons.MMGunBrowning50tquad

Bref !
In my game I do not accept any alarms in the LOG. All the more reason why I should never cross the dark side of IL-2!
I'm not going to be able to help you any further!  :-X
An Imperialist will be able to help you better!  ;)

Dear SAS Epervier,

Many thanks for your reply.

When selecting those two SB_2M-103 & SB_2M-103A in FMB/QMB or any mission, I do not have CTD, they just explode on the runway just immediatelly after the mission has been loaded. Other planes (even other two out of four SB-2M available in 4.13.4) do not cause any problems.

[22:02:37]  Error P38J15LO Weapons '1xdroptank5x500 ' NOT initialized:weapons.PylonP38PLN2
[22:02:37]  Error P38J15LO Weapons 'droptanks 2x500 ' NOT initialized:weapons.PylonP38PLN2
These errors are related to modded P-38 series, but they are not fatal and are flyable without any problems.

I just do not understand what happened wih my two SB_2M-103 & SB_2M-103A, namely why they started to explode on the runway immediattely after a mission has been loaded. Thought it was due to weapons loadout problem, but the log says nothing about it. Very strange

If an aircraft explodes just at the beginning of a mission = 95% bad luck that it's a problem with the buttons or with the external FM (if there is one)!
But why this problem?
Do your SB-2Ms come from an external Mod? Why? These planes already exist in 413... don't they?
Are you using a button from another pack?

I use buttons, which come with SAS Modact 6.4. Checked now and found no any other buttons file inside game.
As to SB 2M-103 & SB 2M-103A, they are stock ones, not modded, and sometime ago were OK.
It's obvious that some mod conflicts with them. I thought that the problem was with any modded weapons file, deactivated one by one, but it did not help, and the log gives no exact info why they explode on the runway. There must be a clue in the log file, but it does not show it )) Strange

So all that remains is the possibility of using the "Startup Debugger" (included in IL-2 Selector) !
It creates a very very very complete LOG!
But I wouldn't be the one who could explain its use in English.  :-X

See manual here...

I will have a look. Guess it is very difficult for me, as I am just a user and understand very little in how Il-2 works

I selected Pe-2 in FMB to fly and the second one SB-2M-103 to see what will happen . The plane was showing for 1 second, then its propellers disappeared, then it disappeared itself!

The log shows more than one hundred of these mesaages:

I read in forum.aviaskins.com one had the same problem like mine seeking for help (everything was OK with these two SB-2s, but then problem appeared), but nobody managed to rectify. One said that the problem was probably with video drives. Several days ago I upgraded my NVidia with three atempts, first two were with errors and I falied to upgrade. In forum.aviaskins.com I read that one had similar program, made some changes with OpenGL and cancelled the NVidia upgrades  and managed to solve the problem. But how, no info, it was in 2008! That was about WARNING: ***( GL error: 0x0502 (pBuf11a). And now my NVidea cannot be degraded back to previous version, do not know why. I will wait for the new upgrading, probably that will help.
But who is the Imperialist that I can address with my issue?
