I'm sort of curious why the modder included the insignia that way. I suppose you could mess with that file and make default markings whatever you want, or just leave it and Mick doesn't have to reskin. I don't know much about markings, perhaps the modder was heading in that direction.

The model is a 3D import from a 3rd party source.
Just as the whole mirroring skin, this feature is most likely due to the nature of the original's  setup. It's been like this in other mods from the same source.
