level autopilot
« on: January 02, 2019, 05:40:20 PM »

I like the idea of being able to fly long distances without giving much attention to the stick, so I recently downloaded this mod that supposedly allows you to use the level autopilot function on all planes from every BAT module, but I found that it doesn't work with any of them except bombers, which is the usual. I put the mod in the right folder and turned it on in jgme (there's one for each BAT mod) and started the game, but again the stabilizer only works on bombers. Am I doing something wrong or is the mod just not meant to be used with the version i have?

this is the mod https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,37995.0.html

Hi denko9001, Make sure it is loading in the correct folder(eg. #WAW3, #JTW3...) and that it loads above
the engine mod. Just tried it and it was loading as #WAW2,JTW2...

1 - "Stabilizer for All aircraft" mod is already merged into Engine mod 2.8.10w , users can control its Enable / Disable in conf.ini setting line

2 - B.A.T. v3.5 (all eras) contains Engine mod 2.8.10w / 2.8.11w having Stab4all function

3 - overwrite old Stab4all mod makes B.A.T. v3.5 and Engine mod's newer functions broken .... like Bomb release mode.

Yes it is already in BAT. You may still have to manually enable with a .conf setting.
I think it's Stab4All=1 in the mods section,  instructions used to be in one of the old BAT expansion pack manuals but I haven't looked through the latest BAT manual.
