Its a completely new mod, so you need to replace AIR.ini lines, if you are using the old frankenplane mod.

Some features overview:

1. New Surface Radar with Naval Target display:

You will find radar as one of your cockpits, the controls are self explanatory. When there is a surface contact, you will get a message from your RO.

2. Custom autopilot:

Use your MISC 1 and MISC 2 keys for Altitude and Direction hold. Note that unlike with the default level stabilizer you will have full control over the aircraft.

3. Take off trim:
To make your flying experience a bit more comfortable you can now order your second pilot to set the take off trim for you using MISC 3 key. After that you only need to set your flaps to 25 degrees and set the full throttle.

4. Waypoint Switch:

Now you have a nice waypoint indicator in your cockpit that guides you to the active waypoint. So to make your life easier you can order your Navigator to switch between the waypoints using your MISC 4 and MISC 5 keys.

5. Nose gear management:

just like in a real Tu-16 you can now switch between active and passive nose gear steering mode with your MISC 6 key. Also as in the real plane now you can lock your nose gear before take off with the Tailwheel Lock key.

6. Landing parachute:

Tu-16 is a heavy plane, so you advised to use the landing chute with the respective key.

Thank you for this great addition.

Getting a conflict in 4.12 JTW,Modact 5.3 Engine mod 2.8.11. Franken F-111, SU T6 and SU 24 are dependent on the old franken TU16 cockpit and some other files. For your new Tu16A to work in non BAT 4.12 the dependent frankens need "-" in the sas folder added and // at their "Air INI" entries including the removal of the old franken TU16 A & K folder when using this new TU16 for it to work at this stage. Is anyone else havng this problem or have an alternate fix.

Well in my B.A.T. JTW install I have all of the mentioned mods installed by default. The only thing that I did is removed the old Tu-16A air.ini line and everything works.

Unfortunately I don't have a clean Mod Act install to test.

Hello.

412 ma 5.3 with all mods required.

Thank you very much for this nice aircraft (i can see it on QMB screen ).

But when i play QMB i get a CTD at 30% loading.

Do i need a mod with the B29 radar ?
