Skins option does nothing
« on: December 17, 2018, 06:56:30 AM »

Hi All,

Running the latest BAT - problem has been around for a little while before the install.  Went away for the first flight after installing Musketeer - but has returned.  I don't think it's BAT related.

When I go into a quick mission - all the options work - except for skins.  Skins folder is where it belongs and I don't seen anything in the logfile indicating a problem.

Skins are available in single mission module, etc.

The plot thickens.  Copying IL2 to a new drive fixes the problem for the first session.  After that it goes back to no skins available.  Possibly the path is getting re-written somehow?

SOLVED - Interestingly … the little down arrow icon for skins does not work - all the others do.  But clicking on the actual contents of the skins window does.   I'm calling it fixed.

perhaps relating here ?

I'm not sure, but possible....

Windows10's each applications' resolution and DPI compatibility setting ?

Mouse right button click on il2fb.exe and choose property menu -- open compatibility tab.
Check - Disable scaling on high DPI monitor.

How ?

Or Windows' UAC protection , under the folder path of C:\Program Files (x86)\ ?
