The problem with custom modded installations is the endless number of missng dependencies.
That's what makes BAT so valuable as a base for further modding works: You can count on almost every dependency to be met without further efforts.

Also prevents the whole "Oh wait, I forgot that you need also XYZ," after people complain that they cannot get something to work...

Koty I really appreciate the work of SAS people, but I do not need BAT for happiness, I use only a few selected SAS modes, besides I play from time to time because I have a lot of things to do in real life.
