Ae you dietz installing all expansions or only B.A.T. 1.0 + LINEBACKER? I am not sure why you posted the B.A.T. 1.0 install log...

The correct order is:

1) Clean 4.12.2 (outside the Program Files folder)
run IL2 and confirm all good

2) B.A.T. 1.0
run IL2 and confirm all good

3) B.A.T. V3.0 CHECKPOINT CHARLIE
run IL2 and confirm all good

4) B.A.T. V3.1 OPERATION SEALION
run IL2 and confirm all good

5) B.A.T. V3.2 ANGELS HIGH
run IL2 and confirm all good

6) B.A.T. V3.3 PATHFINDER
run IL2 and confirm all good

7) B.A.T. V3.4 LINEBACKER
run IL2 and confirm all good

Fingers crossed ...hopefully this will work.It should be the initlog.ist be for the vanilla Bat 1 29 part installfound in the main game folder in C:Games /il-2

his is of course starting from zero..not the initial problem I was having with Line backer install.This really doesn't matter anymore anyway -I can transfer careers,skins, missions,et al from the old install to this one of I can just get it working.
I really hope I have done this right & you get what you would like to see...

If I can just get this first one to work I'm sure ( I hope) the rest will install9 I've saved them all from when they were initially offered, and as I said they all worked brilliantly until they didn't after the last most important upgrade...)

You should read our replies more carefully, otherwise this will just waste everyone's time.

Believe me I read your posts very carefully indeed.
I initially did a folder search for what you want to see & this was the result:

Scratching my head i opened the Game folder & was no more successful:

I no you don't make mistakes & that I was probably wrong in choosing what i did but it was the only thing I could find that was remotely close...

What if I simply open each BAT 1 folder & install tem one by one in order over 4.12.2 like I did with Cup installs? Any hope of this working instead of using the exe.?

Curious that you don't have log.lst file in your root directory. Log.lst is the default name, but if you have sometime, somehow changed its name, it could be anything. Sounds like a pretty basic fuck up of your install. (I'm no expert, just another user like you.)
