KEK-15
« on: September 14, 2018, 01:12:28 PM »

The player flies a Seimens Schuckert D I with Kampf Einsitzer Kommando 15 in the Ardenne, and later, on the Somme from September 1916 to December 1916.

Yes, I didn't want to do yet another Albies eat N17s, and Quirks for breakfast one. In 1917, the KEK gets Roland D IIs for a while, and finally Albatros D IIIs. And Sponge Bob did a nice Caudron G IV skin with RFC roundels for me. There wasn't one before.

cheers

Sounds interesting!  :)

Thank you very much for this campaign, David!  :)

Hi David,
thank you very much for this campaign.

Concerning the Caudron skin, 99% of the credits should go to Stalker, who made the template. I just added the British roundels, a job that took less than five minutes in Photoshop.

Just a piece of advise. The skin is included in a .zip file inside the mission files. Some people can skip it if they don't extract the skin and move it into the skins folders. When including skins into missions, it is good to make a .zip file with two folders with the following structure:

Missions > Campaign > [appropriate country, such as DE, in this case]
PaintSchemes > Skins > [appropriate plane, such as Caudron_G_IV, in this case]

Thus, when the user extracts the .zip folder directly into his/her IL-2 main folder, each file goes into the corresponding folder.

Anyway, thanks for the campaign.

Ah yes, of course. He makes great skins. I'll try to remember a line about any enclosed skins next time. I've quit adding skin folders as a rule, as the game will sort out which skin a plane should have as a rule. Except for telling the pilot which skin to use.

cheers

David
