For the last few times I've played the game, no pilots' or ground control voices can be heard during missions.  I never had this problem before.  All other sounds (engines, menu music, etc.) are fine, however.  I have DBW + Full Monty + Forgotten Countries.  What do I need to do to restore the speech packs to functionality?  Please advise, and thank you in advance.

You could copy this in your Conf.ini (delete your settings before of course) and see if it helps...

I did... but no luck.  The problem is still there.

You could also try to check the ingame sound- settings, maybe sth. wrong there. And one final but more unpleasant solution is a total fresh install. I always did that when nothing else would help - that does the job.  If you have made all backups of your game it should be no big deal though.

Thank you for replying.  I did a clean re-install, and re-tested various configurations (the original stock game, the DBW, the Forgotten Countries mod), until I was able to zero in on the trouble: the DBW download placed the !!NO_Radio_chatter_1916_rv2 folder in the #DWB folder.  Once I placed that radio chatter folder in the #DWB_1916 folder, the voice packs function normally.
