Goliescu Avioplan

Seeing as I can't post in the aircraft section I'll post this here and it is complete if admin wants to move it.

Rodrig Goliescu (1882–1942) was a Romanian inventor, engineer, and Lieutenant, who built the avioplan in 1909, the first airplane with a tubular fuselage.

This is one of First Class Simulations " Early Years of Flight " FSX models.
So I make no claim to building or ownership of this. I merely adapted it for use in IL-2 by baseing it on Molva's " Spinne " which is available here http://195.177.105.130/showthread.php?t=4195&page=13.

Being that this is my first attempt to follow in my fathers footsteps.I am asking that this "NOT" be used in anyone else's youtube videos as I plan to make my own. Thanks.

Only tested in Bat 3.3

Adamo, are you by any coincidence Edlor´s son?

I love this unique looking aircraft. What a wild ride!  8)  Terrific design on it. Specially for its time!

This guy was far ahead in his time. He was probably the "Nikola Tesla" of his time for aviation inventions.
I think they were both born during the Austrian Empire.

Thank you so much Adamo! I will fly it!

OK, it flies very nice in my DBW-1916  8)   I placed it in the DBW-1916 (game version 4.10) because I have old style map landscapes and
its for all things before WW2 time-period.
It´s a very amazing flying aircraft.

Thank you once again!

That´s right Fresco23, I also love to use the DBW-1916 often for all things WW1 and
vintage aircraft ... sunday driving flying around  ;D  It´s a real trip back in time.
Cool daredevil dogfights!

Sometimes I do bring the classic aircraft into the 4.12 game, for other types of dogfights and insane mischief  :D
So they all work just fine.

The Goliescu Avioplan first flight circa 1909     ...in the IL2-1946+DBW-1916

More power to the IL2-1946 game forever!

Thanks everyone. :)

I'm glad to see you're enjoying it so much Max_thehitman and I really like your screenies.

I've been trying out all the game versions dad has on his pc including the DBW 1916 but I gotta say B.A.T. 3.3 is the one I've been enjoying most. There's just so much there.

Anyways Thanks again all and I am indeedly proudly Edlor's son.  ;D

Very unusual, thanks for making it available. It works in HSFX 7.

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I moved the topic to aircraft "ww1" section, the home of the dawn of flight.

Max may I ask how you are flying this in DBW-1916? I get no cockpit view. At work now so no log. :(
