On the right wing landing gear (the small wheel on the wing) is not properly in place like it is on all the other airplanes in the series.

Hi,

Having heaps of fun with this big BUFF, could I recommend ( if any one is looking for a nice long and wide runway to fly and land) the La Chute Fall European map mod. RAF Scampton has a very long runway I have been doing circuits in all four models landing and taking off with weapons loads but with low fuel 30% set. I like the crew access hatch function connected to the open canopy key when chocks in. We need a Tanker!!!!

I have a issue at start, could you help please. :(

The game hangs at 100% but eventually goes into cockpit view where it hangs again for some time before becoming usable, has any one else encountered this or is it unique to my install, maybe I am missing something:

Very minor issue: AI-controlled B-52s and B-47s don't deploy drag chutes upon landing. Chute is working for the player though.

Just as with the B-47 before it, the B-52 crashes my game at 20%. I have a normal, by-the-book installation of BAT "Pathfinder", with no additional mods, or anything selected in the JSGME. Does anybody know what extra mods or tweaks are necessary to get this to work, or is this airplane just for people with their own series of "insider" special mods, plus all those additional little prerequisite mod additions that were , maybe, included with BAT in some different form not compatible with this? I've actually tried adding to my #JTW folder all the separate "extras" suggested, but the game still crashes at 20%, anyway, so I doubt that their lack or prescence is the problem. I've heard here from some people here who say that it fits right in with their BAT installation, so what have they got that I haven't?

Look into your LogFile to see what, or why,  this is happening...

.... set your conf.ini to log the loading of the game...

[HotKey Console]
LOG=1
LOGTIME=1
LOGFILE=log.lst (you can choose the name that you like)
LOGKEEP=0 (with option =1 will keep all the logs and the file will quickly become very heavy)

the loading of the game will be logged on your log.lst file (or any other you have chosen).
In case of a  crash you can trace the loading error (flight model or other) and save a lot of time in investigating the cause. 

You find the Logfile in your game,  right at the beggining in ... __IL2_1946_412\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946
You open it up using your Notepad and check the last entries on the list you see. It usually has the "errors" written.

Try install  this mod (inthe first post :https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,52489.0.html) in BAT  i have same issue but after add this mod I solved.

The page referred to has three different mods linked on it. Which one should I use, or is it all of them? What about all those classfiles mentioned and where are they in a BAT installation?

Be cautious!

This is a dependency mod that affects all kinds of stuff inside BAT. You may be fixing one and tearing up some new bugs.

I am working on integrating this in an upcoming  BAT pack right now and.... let's just say, it's not pretty.
