Withdrawls
« on: July 11, 2018, 11:51:07 AM »

Hi all,

My cheap HOTAS has finally failed and I am looking to get another set up.  I'm kinda on a limited budget and saw the Thrustmaster T.16000 FCS.

Does anyone have any experience using this for the casual gamer (myself)?

I have that, stick and throttle.

While the throttle may seem a bit rough at first, I got used to it I am quite satisfied with the product.

sorry for the late reply :P

The stick is pretty straight forward I guess... weapons buttons go where weapons buttons go.
I use the six buttons on the left for bomb toggle/pattern and rocket toggle/pattern functions and for icons toggle

Throttle has a lot of buttons! (I don't even use them all)
on the right side, used with thumb:
top coolie is views (3x FAV and toggle between gunsight/normal)
second 4-way button is Flaps up/down (front/back not used)
third 4-way button is air brake, flares, chafes and wheel brake (also used for missile lock so it's needed HOT)
lowest button is gear

the big lever in the front I use for rudder trim (nice when on stabs)
the up down button is elevator trim
then I have lock on ground target on a button
and map on/of on a button

Some stuff, like brake chute I had to remove because on the keyboard you can't hit them accidentally.
