Jet War Tracers / Random Belt starting position

Is there anyway to change the Tracers of the Jet War module to the same as the WAW Module ? I dont really like the thick new "golfball" tracers and prefer the thinner from the other module much more.

Also there is now the mod "Sas Random Belt Start" (maybe its there for long, havent played for a year and start again with the last update). I have activated the mod but not sure if there is any change in the tracers etc
