It's D-Day!
« on: June 06, 2018, 07:11:43 AM »

It's the 6th of June, D-Day but I'm working on a video about the bombing of Naples, Italy, right now.
So.. here are some old D-day P-47 mission videos I posted a couple years ago -
Done in the un-modded version of Il2 with a low performance rig.
And when you could edit your videos on Youtube

Back into the war!  :)

Looking good. Do you have an alternative link for the missions!? Are they still here!?

> Hans - Thanks!
At work right now so when I get home I'll see if I can give you access.
All the missions I fly are created in the full mission builder ( FMB )and I still have the mission codes,
but I have to post it on my website because of the character limit on the SAS forum.
From there you can copy and paste it into a mission file and run them from the FMB.
I have never designed or coded a campaign and don't fly with the FAC group -although maybe one day when I want my ass shot out of the sky..but..
My missions are PACKED with AI objects for immersion and meant to be flown by a single player.
For instance -  I have bomber and glider formations flying back and forth over Normandy just to be in the way  - so you have to look out for them.
In the case of these old missions - I import them into the Modded ( VP-Modpack ) version and - naturally - some of the objects are replaced by modded objects.
but if you know how to use the FMB, it get's to be an adventure and you can edit to your heart's delight trying to get everything to work right.
I'll post links to codes on a new thread - hopefully tonight.
Till then - Happy flying!  :)
