The P-51C & D seem to work ok in 4.12 & DBW. P-51b doesn't work in my DBW and in 4.12 I have a little alignment problem.

Try to rename the folder with the mod on !0_OpenCanop_P-51.

Well that fixed the canopy but the pilot is now a little mixed up.

You have to open up the folder with the open canopy mod in it and find the hier HIM files for the corresponding plane ,then find the folder that has the new pilot mod in it and do the same,find the hier HIM file for the corresponding plane.Cut the pilot section out of the hier HIM from the open canopy mod and replace it with the pilot entries from the hier HIM from the new pilot mod.

In the Open Canopy mod I have 4 folders: P-51B-5NA (Multi1)
P-51B-10NA(Multi1) P-51B(Multi1) P-51B(USA) They all have a "hier" file. Which folder am I lookin' for and where do I find the folder with the new pilot mod? Sorry to be such a pest but I, and a lot of others have been waiting years for someone to figure out how to open the canopy on the planes. Rest assured, any help is much appreciated.

Duffy if you have the new pilots for the early P51's then you must have a folder in your mods folder with the pilots in it,you have to find it and look for the corresponding plane folders and find it's hier HIM file.The entries for the new pilots will be found in those hier HIM's.Or just download this and replace your opening canopy mod with this one modified for 4.10 DBW 1.71 with the new pilots. https://www.mediafire.com/download/khs2ki7ae19ynpa/!++++Canop_P-51.7z
