Locomotive lights

I get it - that's how they work. Excellent Mod -  :D
Is there any way to keep the lights on with aircraft near just for eye candy at night?
If not, no big deal. Let's get back into the war.

I think (only think) that might be a designed specification.

In WWI or WWII time, identifying flying planes enemy ? or friendly? in the night is very difficult.
Train locomotives had no military radio receiver , no information got. Only hearing some planes' engine sound coming.
