For some reason the sea and rivers appear black in my BAT setup. I have tried some of the suggestions to make changes in conf. but nothing has changed.
Under conf, I have two sections labelled VideoSetupId=17 that have different settings.
The first has Water=water/PacificWater.tga ;Effects=2
The second has Water=2; Effects=1
Both have ForceShaders1x=0; PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15; PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0
Should there be two sections?
Any suggestions for 'best' settings - with the current settings it is very difficult to see enemy aircraft in blue against the black sea.
Any help most welcomed.

I'm not on BAT but you could try this in Conf.ini

TexFlags.TexEnvCombine4NV=1
TexFlags.DepthClampNV=1
TexFlags.TextureShaderNV=1

Also Water= 4

if you have a good PC and are on "Perfect Mode"

Good to hear. I also just noticed that you call yourself a Gremlin and asked a water question. Isn't that a serious matter!?
