The best Caimpagn and history that you will life like a movie.

“white sun, blue sky

A seventy-one mission campaign for the American Volunteer pilot in China and Burma, 1941 to 1942.

Closely based on actual events, dates, times, and locations, this pilot career features both the Curtiss H81A-2s and the P-40Es of the American Volunteer Group, the famous ‘Flying Tigers’. The player will join the 3rd Pursuit Squadron, the ‘Hell’s Angels’, and will fly over Burma, IndoChina, Thailand, and China, against the numerically superior and veteran Japanese Army Air Force, as well as their Thai allies.

The autor about this Campaign it's always the same (Chris Blair) of the.......WHEN THE TIGER FLY......it's a legend! ;)

For those people who do not yet know (it come out 2007)...... try it!

I'm enjoying the heck out of this campaign.  Thanks Baracca!!!  Nice background on the mission briefs.

I started flying campaigns only about two weeks ago. This is just about one of the best IMHO. Are there any more where this came from?

I don't know if anyone will still be reading this, but:

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and thank you Baracca for introducing WSBS to new people. I bumped into this thread looking for a North Africa campaign to fly, I didn't expect to see my own campaign on the mod forum!

I had no idea people were still downloading this. I'm glad you folks are enjoying it. This reminds me that I need to wrap up the 2nd Sqdn skin updates! Here's a sample, John Petach's #47. It has taken forever to churn these out; I lost my template in a PC crash and rebuilding the template was something that took a long time for me to attempt

Thanks tater. Glad you like it

I only ever released White Sun, Blue Sky, and When Tigers Could Fly.

When Tigers Could Fly was my first try. It was OK but as I made it I learned how to do (and how not to do) a lot of things in campaigns, and so I made White Sun Blue Sky, to replace it. WSBS uses everything from WTCF, so WTCF isn't worth downloading- if you can find it. I still like the name though. I had started a project I was calling "Langestrasse", which would have been a full-war Bf109 campaign, from Poland to the defense of the Reich, would have been over a hundred missions, but my partner on that couldn't devote the time

Mission4Today has lots of great campaigns though

Try "The Legend of Y29" (which is available as a modded campaign too) or anything by PhilK, or anything by FlatSpinMan. Other notable authors are Extreme_One (he and Poymando made the very first battle of Britain campaign for Il2:Forgotten battles, called "Battle over Britain", using the Gulf of Finland map, which actually worked out well). It's an old campaign though. Extreme_One also made "Two little DUCs" which I think is great. Also, Bird_Brain made some great campaigns too, but they are older now, although still very good.

Right now I like campaigns made by Poltava. Good mix of opponents and mission types

I just watched the Fim Flying Tigers and want to fly exactly such a campaign on Sunday, glad I found this!  :)
The early P-40s are kickass planes in IL-2 in any iteration of the modded games IMHO.
Also I am a fan of the story of this squadron.

Thanks for sharing..!
