Me-509
« on: April 19, 2018, 12:00:17 AM »

Is anyone working on something for the 509? I like to do my own camouflage patterns so even a void file would work for me.
Thanks.

I did start on a skin-template for it but never finished it, because there was talk of being another
upgrade for this mod.
When there are 3d-modeling upgrades, sometimes the skins will no longer fit properly unto
the newer versions. So I wait. I personally like the way this model looks, just needs some little fixes.
Now it seems there will be no further work on this aircraft.
I will finish up the skin template and post it for everyone.

But you can also create your own skin-template, if you wish to not wait.

Having no experience with yet, I'll wait for you. I am curious about at least learning more about how skinning works, could you tell please tell me what thread you think I should start with? I am running BAT up to Pathfinder and when I fly the Yokosuka R2Y1 the default skin looks like it is wrapped around wrong on the 3d model, and you can't change the skin.  Is this something peculiar to my computer or is it something else?
Thanks.

about the R2Y1. Indeed there once was a 3D makeover of exactly the kind max is talking about, some time in the past.
The skinning template changed.

However, in BAT WAW, the default skin looks normal, unless you changed something?
You can extract the new default skin from the original download as a base for further work
