Adaptation of the old Swiss campaign for BAT
« on: March 07, 2018, 03:38:48 PM »

Hi there !

Old visitors of the site know my very old Swiss campaign, I made in FB era (so far away), I think. In this time, there was no mods, so I used standard FB map.

Then, the game became moddable and we began to have new maps, new planes, etc. So, in 2011, I remixed it for UP3.

And now, it is updated for BAT (just a few modifications, nothing big).

Available at M4T : http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=1013.

As suggested by Uzin in another thread, I now share it with you, as I still have fun palying it. You will principally fly Me-109E-3, but not only...

And if someday Bucker becomes available in BAT, I will modify it again !

Have fun !

To use it, you will have to download the 2 available files (2011 and BAT versions), as I did not include again skins and sounds in BAT version. But installation is still simple : just unzip in temporary folder, and copy the "Missions" folder directly in the root of your BAT game. Of course, install 2011 version first, and last update after, allowing to rewrite. And up in the Swiss sky you will go again !

Thank you, Gaston. I haven't had time to fly the entire career, but I did try a few single missions at random. So far, all is working well, and it looks very good in my BAT 3.3. I must say, though, the recommended pilot skin is a bit um disturbing. Looks like maybe he enjoys his job a bit too much:

Ahhhhh, good old Days, I remember it very well. Played back then a couple Times as
such Campaigns were rather rare. This was before SAS. At M4T I guess?
We got bombarded with 200+ Missions Luftwaffe Campaigns JG51 here Steinhoff or Gremlin there
in central, south Sector.

Happy you restored it

Best wishes

I remember this too! It was wonderful. Luckily I am old enough now that flying it again will be a brand new experience!
