This mod adds a more realistic looking to the C-47, Li-2 and L2D using a new model with windows and new engines models.
Im work exporting a model for the CFS2 to il2 in the interior will added boxes, and maybe paratroopers, the seats will be removed.

UPDATE 18-11-09:
-Correct some issues with the mapping of Engines for the C47, now the engines of the C47 have correct texture mapping and the new engine have more smooth faces and have a more realistic lighting.

Here is a some screenshot of the new engine model with old one.

Only for the SAS members, You can download the prebeta 3 of this mod (only the engines of the C47 and Li-2)

I love this project. Daks are very cool for me, and I actually got ferried in one in one of my deployments, one of the last ones here . It is a scary thing. Wind came in everywhere and it creaked all the time.

Thanks the original model has a eight sides polygons the new one has sixteen.

Did you make a new engine from scratch in Gmax, or did you modified the existing one?

Im mapped, fit and export a model for CF2 to IL2, the new model has the collision boxes, the shadows, the hooks and LOD of the original model. The original Gmax its General Public License.

Thanks for the beta , the new cowls make a world of differance to the visuals on this bird , im wondering is the undercart , wheels , stantions .ect going to be overhauled as well ?, as the current set is ummm , well......Crap.
