Beautiful! I'm blessed with a similar view on my way to work, though I can't pluck up my courage and try riding my bike in winter months. I just can't. Even at times when roads seem innocent enough. So my envy for you is double

Resurrecting the old thread

Took a few pics on my bike ride in the morning today, experimenting with illumination a bit.
It's been chilly, 2°C, but clear skies. Click for full size pics, sorry it's been my Smartphone again... I promise I'll take the DSLR with me one day.

Sure. Why not? ...eh...those look like uncomfortable ruts to bike on. Is it eastern front mud...or just illusional from the photo? Do you navigate up on the hard ground and grass?

After all, it's just my choice. I can change the route whenever I like to, and when the weather is dry, I sometimes go "off road" a bit.
This particular image however is not from my daily route between home and office, it's a tad off.
I took it when I came back from a farmer nearby where I go every 3 days to get some milk "straight from the cow"

My daily route to/from office is mostly paved roads, most of them closed for public traffic, along the countryside.
This is a typical view, picture taken on my way to the office today:

No eastern mud, but no cars either. Just me, a couple of horses and cows in the meadow, and lots of fresh air.

When zoomed in your shot of the trees in fall colors looks like a Monet, I like that image a lot.
