First issue! Adventures in Antarctica part 1 - 4
Suspense! Murder! Horrors!

https://www.mediafire.com/file/bah8772pva1f8na/Adventures_icy.zip

This is something new I wanted to try for some time and eventually finished it. A series of 4 single missions, partly from the realm of fantasy and pulp fiction. Adventures in aviation in the Golden Age. Simple flying and a bit of a story is the core of the idea, enjoying the sceneries, maps and possibilities of Il-2 BAT.
I am no professional writer so bear with me, okay? :o

Read me and cheat sheet included.

Waw! This sounds terrific!
A little exploited era with a lot of possibilities. The ambience reminds me of Lovecraft stories such as "At the Mountains of Madness", or the various versions of the film "The Thing". Very interesting!
We need some kind of King-Kong/giant monsters mod too!

Anyway, it is really welcome. Downloaded and eager to fly.
Thank you for share it and Happy New Year!

This forum needs a like button.

Something to note:  During the nasty Winter of 1916/17, in the Somme,  aircrews on both sides had to build smudge pot fires, canvas heating covers and other equally dangerous and creative ways to keep the engine oils fluid enough so hand propping wasn't a near impossibility.  The big ol' BMW 200 powering the Junkers F13 would have been a bear to start in subzero weather.  Some sort die throw on getting some success of getting the engine started in Antarctica, would add to the danger.

The missions have made "Editor's Pick" over at M4T

The review from Beebop leaves me a bit humbled and speechless.
Nice ;D

Excellent missions, and even better briefings ! very immersive ! Reminded me an old campaign I made for IL-2 FB/AEP, more than 10 years ago, telling a Tintin's adventure (and that was BEFORE we had modded game !). Vampire pilot briefings reminded me the ones I made for this Tintin's adventure !

SAS Vamp, just downloaded the Icy Adventure.  I will be playing it as soon as I hit send!  Thank you.

Gaston, I have TinTin's campaign.  Still play it on occasion. I've kept all game versions and missions/campaigns on an external hardrive.  Playing v4.07, then BAT Linebacker...all I can say is the progression has been staggering.

Thanks to all who have made it possible.

Where would I find the Neuschwabenland map? I can't find it in MapMods.
