Continuing problems with Ge Force 780TI...only way you can play this game, is dinosaur drivers...post it on the Steam comments...gets deleted immediatly. I haven't felt this ripped off since Rise of Flight

That's a well known issue, it doesn't get deleted if you report so on the Battle of Stalingrad forums.
Google search "780 site:forum.il2sturmovik.com" and you'll see.

It seems to be a graphics card issue rather than a game issue though, see the official project manager's comment on that issue:
https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/26656-game-version-2006-discussion-dx11-ju-52-bf-109-g-4-scripted/page-11#entry423097
Apparently Nvidia is aware of the issue, but as the statements dates from 2016, they don't seem to care too much:

Yes..sadly I didn't know about this issue prior to purchase..I think it should be 'stickied' on the Steam forums at least....oh well...I prefer IL2 1946 with the BAT Addon...and IL2 CLoD with teamfusion mod to the new one thankfully

I think you can't blame "IL-2 Great Battles" for this.
The one thing you'd really prefer would rather be a hardware that's not faulty like the 780 apparently is.

Nevertheless: Did you try latest 388.71 yet?
And did you try lowering your GPU's clocks like suggested by Nvidia?

Cheers!

Hi Mike,
Yes, I know...lol..i'm just a bit peeved. I've just downloaded the latest drivers..i'll give it a go..and check my clock speeds. You are correct of course, it's not really 1C's fault..it's lazy Nvidia and their (seemingly) daily offerings of sometimes not very good drivers

I can understand their point, they have had so much hassle getting the upgrade for VR and DX 11 caused by all the different hardware in use GTX 780 is abandoned by Nvidia not the rest o the world. But I see your point. By this point gtx 780 is the absolute worst card you possible can have
