Destructible diving submarines...
« on: December 28, 2017, 02:56:45 PM »

Have you ever tried to destroy a diving submarine?
With bombs?
It's too easy!  :P
But did you try to touch him with a torpedo?
Ah! You're less clever!

Then test this "bricolage" !  ;)
And there's no escaping you from the scuba diving submarines!  ):D
The difference with original Mod is the position of the collision boxes to allow torpedoes to touch the submarine!

Read the f... readme !

Version 2
-  shadows of the submarines adapted to the length of the known submarines in the game (well, the ones I know!).

This Mod is old. I don't remember the name of the original author.
If anyone knows the orignal author, please let me know so I can add them to the credits.

... many THX for this very useful mod ...!  :P

Given the name of the TGAs, I suspect the author is Italian ...  ;)

Ah thanks !  :)
I also thought he was the author!

Very nice shadow. Please share.
WIP ! ;)

@Andrew
I looked at your package. Tks ! ;)
I really like the shine of this shadow.
I think it acts on the visibility of the shade "underwater".
I'll be tested with rougher seas!

There was also a mod released that had a modern target sub  that was surfaced until the player got within a certain distance. If that could be combined with yours could be quite good with some randomisation applied to wether sub dives or not.

If i can find it i will post mate

Here it is

That looks GREAT! ?:) Would it ok to shorten the trail from the periscope? I think in real life it would not be so long but I do admire your progress. :)
