Spitfire pull up

Hey guys I have trying to fly the Spitfire MKIX. I noticed that the plane got a strong pull up when flying. Much stronger than other planes. Is this normal please?

The default trim might be set a little stronger than most planes.

Just set your elevator trim down a few notches before take off if it's an issue.

But is this strong pull up realistic on the Spitfire? I am finding it very annoying to fly, especially the Mk IX versions. Honestly, I am more enjoying the Typhoon and the Tempest planes :).

IIRC the general agreement was to not touch stock flight models.
Your question therefore might be better addressed towards TD.

The problem is that I cannot find their forum anymore. Does anyone find the Spitfire's Mk IXs a bit strange and tediant to fly?  I really enjoy the Mk Vs, MK XIVs and the Tempest, Typhoon. But I can not get the hang of the MK IXs

Complaints about excessive "tail-heaviness" of Spitfire are an old rant. Don't know if it could be realistic, the copy I have of Pilot's Notes is almost unreadable on this point:



remedy, as already said, is trimming accordingly before take-off (up to two dozens keystrokes may be required).
