Su-26M uses engine sounds that are bmw6 series, so my new Bell-47 sounds must be turned off in JSGME.

Hello, I have BAT v3.3 and found the gear on the Su26 is "collapsed", found this fix & downloaded it, but, I'm new and have no idea how to install it in BAT (if it's even possible), could someone "in the know" possibly give me a step by step to install this in BAT v3.3 so I can get the SU26 useable from takeoff or is this fix something that will be put into the next BAT expansion or service pac & would be better for me (a newbie) to wait for it to be included there?
TIA

I do not operate BAT3.3.

1- Download . Get Su26_4122conv_20171118.7z . Unzip with 7.z.
2- get into file Su26_4122conv_20171118, obtain file SU_26M_SAS412, and delete Su26_4122conv_20171118 after it is emptied.
3- RENAME file SU_26M_SAS412 to ! SU_26M_SAS412 by adding prefix ! and a space.  This is important; wont work otherwise.
4- drop this file in #JTW3 file.
5-  find STD in #JTW3 and edit air.ini path #JTW3 \ STD \ com \ Maddox \ il2 \ objects \ air.ini
6- ...sorry...; - U dont have to edit anything; su-26m is already there, with it's collapsing gear featured.
                    - Now it is bypassed by the new plane, and the new file, i.e. the corrected version for 412.
7- Forget the rest, now you can fly the mod, and wait for a BAT update with new su-26m fixed inside it;
    then U will delete ! SU_26M_SAS412  file, no longer needed.

Good luck. This should work. Tested in early BAT.

Thank you Hubberranz!, following your instructions, it works perfectly!, if I may ask another question as I'd like to understand how this worked (for the future), the Su26_4122conv_20171118.7z is a complete aircraft to be added along with the air.ini, plane & weapon load outs, since BAT already has the Su26 in an earlier version the changes/additions to the ini, weapons, & plane files are already there & by adding the ! space in front of new mod plane SU_26M_SAS412 & placing this folder/plane in the JTW3 folder(which is the mod folder for BAT), the ! space makes the game read/load the mod plane instead of the original? Again, thanx for the help & the follow-up question is only me trying to learn how this all works!
