Postimage integration
« on: November 05, 2017, 03:44:40 AM »

Dear SAS members,

Some of you have noticed already that the "Add image to post" link on the bottom of the reply page is missing.
The reason is that the certificate used for maintaining secured encrypted connections at postimage.org has expired two days ago.
There's nothing much we can do on our side about this, except for letting the guys at postimage.org know that they have a problem.
We are not going to lower our security standards to work around this, so for the time being, in order to upload images we recommend to visit PostImage manually and upload your image there.

Thanks for your understanding.

Yours sincerely,
The SAS Board Administration

...and fixed already.
Postimage replied to our mail that they've renewed their certificate and indeed it seems to work again.

Thanks for your patience!

Hello Mike, for a few days now I have not been able to use the "Add image to post" facility to add my images to thread posts, could you tell me please if this is the same problem you made us aware of when this thread was opened or if it could be something wrong my side?

I seem to also have the issue posting to their site directly, same as here the upload of the image goes to around 45% and then hangs for a while before trying again and eventually informing me no code available or something to that effect.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;)

No sorry Pete, that seems to be something on your end.
I can upload both to their site directly, as with the plugin here on our site.
