On the occasion of this map revealed again the curse of mods - lack of standardization. Here even the author of the map does not know what packs objects he used. I do not smile to install dozens of packages in the hope that I will eventually hit all the needed objects. Has anyone got an idea how to solve this?

Edit:

Bombsaway - please - see in which sections static.ini are the following objects:

Code: [Select]
Pacific_Roads1_Road
Pacific_Roads1_RoadTurn45
Pacific_Roads2_RoadTurn30
Pacific_Roads2_RoadTurn15
Pacific_Roads2_Road_T
Pacific_Roads11_Road_Y
Pacific_Roads1_RoadShort
Oil_Well
BarrelBlock1_JP1
BarrelBlock1_JP2
Fiat626_scrap

This will help you find the right package.
When I add objects with VP Modpack I just miss the listed ones.Thank you in advance.

Get the Universal Static ini Checker from this page https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,33463.0.html

This will tell you which objects you do not have.

Personally I am pleased that the author of the map has shared it with us. Any minor problems we may have resolving the installation is nothing compared with the enormous work which has gone into creating the map.

If it's me - I know what I'm missing. I do not know just where to get it.

Kelso, I cant help but think your reponse at the top sounds rude. Over the years I had to add a ton of objects or mods to get things to work. I was always greatful for other modders to share thier work so I felt its my responsability to hunt down and install any objects that I was missing, not tell them they had to do it for me.
This is not a service. This is me sharing my work for free. If you are missing something, do a search, ask in a new thread that you start and see if anyone knows where to find said objects.
I cant be expected to spoon feed everyone or hold their hand. Do some of the work for yourself.

I have uploaded a new version with the Pacific roads objects and transparent.tga. Also, I posted a link to Max's objects. You will have to search them for the barrels and then search the SAS for the other objects you need. The Fiat626_scrap may be in a wrecked vehicle mod. I'm sure you can find the oil well object.

@ Kelso... You can find the fiat scrap here... https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,52067.12.html  Look for Max's reply # 18. Do a search for oil well and you will have found all the objects you are missing.

I found all these by doing a search of this site. I'm sure you could do the same.

Guess what comes up as first item when you type Lockheed Ventura in the SAS Search facility? :)
