I have been working 58 hours a week lately so I thought I would post a test link for this map since my time to work on it is short. I think I have added everything to the download that I need. This map is palm tree heavy and it may cause FPS drop for older and slower computers. I do plan to make a light version as soon as I can but for now this is what I have.
Please test and let me know if anything is missing or fails to load.
Since my personal time is short it may be a couple weeks before the light version is out but I hope you enjoy this map.

Also, this map has been made as historicaly correct as possible. All airfields are correct. I have taken the time to research this area and from photos and information from many sources such as Pacific wrecks and others, this map is hopefully very close to what it was like back then.

HI Mark,
The map doesn't load in my vp_modpack. Tab & shift report the following:
INTERNAL ERROR: Can't open file 'MAPS/Tex/BA_Mid/Spain_1024Crete21_fields.tga'
INTERNAL ERROR: LoadTextureFromTga ('MAPS/_Tex/BA_Mid/Spain_1024Crete21_fields.tga'

Hi Bombsaway, according to the static for the coral mound it is in 3do/Buildings/Pacific/CoralMound but in the download it is in the 3do/Buildings/CoralMound folder. I could not save the map in FMB until I fixed the folder structure. Just a heads up. Great map BTW.

I had the original map loading in BAT #WAW3 but it wouldn't save a FMB mission. I then updated to V01, re-entered the .ini texts and now I get the following loading error and no map at all - " World.land().LoadMap() error: java.lang.RuntimeException: Landscape "Bombsaways_Palau/load.ini' loading error"

Can someone please provide instructions/tips for a BAT installation, and specifically in which folder the 3DO file is supposed to reside. Any help greatly appreciated.

p.s. What I could see of the map was brilliant! Thanks Bombsaway.

Please try installing from the begining again. I used BAT when I made this so it should work for you. Make sure you have all the entries correct.

Were you able to get it fixed?

Also, has anyone who downloaded had any problems? FPS drop? If not then I'll release this in the PTO section.
