These are variations of the Alte Din Mittelschrift. That itself has a forerunner,
called Preußische Musterzeichnung IV.
Here you can get these old Basic Fonts for free:
http://www.peter-wiegel.de/alteDin1451.htmlThese are musthave's. Next to the collectio. you get with your Windows OS
and Photoshop you have a starting package. Get the M4T military Fonts is
the next step. Then head for a larger group to be grassed up.
But besides that there's a trend in LW units to use differing styles,
some derived from the 20's or earlier advertising or Bauhaus inspired (Futura/Linotype).
As I studied Typography myself in R/L I recommend you
to search for specific: serif less & Grotesque Typefaces from the timespan 1900-1940,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sans-serif if not it doesn't matter much just that it looks as close. Some Font sites use a Picture scanner
helping you to trace a Type close to the original from the webs large archives.
You wouldn't think what has been released as Fonts.
Rest you can do in Photoshop adjusting.
Interestingly enough get used to get the RAF Free Fonts series,
they match the same matter as Types.
Advertising styles were international, Jugendstil and Bauhaus,
somewhat located to Germany, but inspiring enough to be nationless.
Berthold AG Berlin, Monotype London, Typefaces were intrrnational and trend products.
The picture example above looks to me like a mix of Akzidenz Grotesque and Mittelschrift.
The Akzidenz Grotesque is very rounded and distinguishes himself from
a Mittelschrift by it's wider Size. Was more popular than actual Mittelschrift, as it
was the Type the Germans were used to in the First half of the 20th century in
public life.
Grotesque's were popular and varied from being Mittelschrift only or
closer related, rounded or blocky. Not always stencils, but also handdrawn or
freestyle.
i.e. Microgramma/Eurostile (Linotype) as seen as another major
style popular on Bf 109, Ju88, Me262, Fi 156. Since these are commercial Fonts, look out for free clones,
there are tons of it. Lots of Free Type designers did almost everything
you need for it.
Hope I could help a bit on the matter
